IBM helped Madrid's first responders react to emergencies 25% faster. The Madrid interactive film is a nonlinear, immersive documentary that gives the user a firsthand view of the city’s high tech emergency response system in action. Users can choose to follow police, ambulance or fire crews as they respond to actual emergencies unfolding over a single night. Documentary footage is combined with data from the emergency command center and placed on an interactive map of the city. By navigating the map, the user can follow crews as they respond to incidents, including a fire, a bomb scare, and a soccer riot.
